Swim meet scheduled for tonight at home has been moved to Sauk Centre because the diving board is broken. Swimmers the bus leaves at 4:00.

Girls and Boys soccer will begin next Tuesday, January 11. The girls will play from 3-4 pm and the boys from 4-5 pm. We will meet in the Elementary gym. Anyone in grades 7-12 who is interested in playing soccer and staying in shape during those cold winter months, feel free to join us. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Rink (room 410).

If you are not signed up for psychology but are interested in taking it next semester and you are a junior or senior see Ms. Dusha by the end of the week. She is not here today.

Seniors – the National Wild Turkey scholarship is due this week. So far nobody has applies. One scholarship is designated to a Melrose student. See Ms. Dusha’s website to apply.

Lifeguards will be needed for Open Swim on Wednesdays from Jan. 12 through March 16. Please see the sign up sheet hanging outside the Community Education Office. Thank you.

Needed: 3 lifeguards for Friday, Jan. 21 from 12:20 to 1:40. Please see Stacey in the Community Education Office, you will be paid for this.

Mandatory Yearbook meeting Friday at 7:45 in Ms. Halbert’s room.

Last chance to buy your yearbook before the price goes up on Monday. Bring your yearbook money to Carol in the high school office.

Seniors last chance to get senior pictures and last words in the yearbook. Pages will be sent in on Monday.

Any 7-12 boy who is interested in boys’ tennis this spring, please sign up in the high school office by January 14th. We need about 12-15 boys to sign up to offer boys tennis this spring.

Any 10-12 softball players who have not signed up to work the Lion’s breakfast on January 16th please see Nicole Welle to sign up as soon as possible. Workers are needed.

Stearns County American Dairy Assn.(ADA) is looking for potential dairy princess candidates. If you are a daughter/sister of a dairy farmer or work for a dairy farmer and are between the ages of a senior in high school and under 24, you are asked to share your knowledge of the dairy industry and promote your family’s business and way of life to the public by participating in this year’s Dairy Princess Program

Winter session classroom driver education starts January 10 – 21 from 3:15 – 6:15.
Spring session starts February 14 – 28 from 3:15 – 6:15. (Note time change)

Renaissance cards are ready for you to pick up. Check the display case in the hallway across from the media center. Grades 9-12 come to the high school office and grade 8 go to the middle school office. If you have any questions see Carol.

The weight room will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday’s after school from 3:00 – 4:00. All Athletes who are not out for a winter sport are encouraged to attend. See Mr. DeCann if you have any questions.
